Work cubicals Whoever is given the north-east corner will be forced to face either south or west, which can cause lethargy unless the desk faces away from the wall. This would be a good adjustment all round, as the wall then supports the back. The south-east compartment is fine provided the desk is positioned so that you are facing north. This position would be more advantageous for a woman than for a man as Agni resides in the south-east and is known to protect the health of women. The person in the north-west compartment will suffer from restlessness and may not stay with the company long, so employees allocated this desk may come and go in quick succession. General Office furniture Chairs have a big influence on posture and performance. Photocopiers cause considerable disruption and are best in the south-east corner or in a separate room. Kuber Kuber is the God of wealth and the God's treasurer. He is also called the God of Yakshas (savage beings). Kuber is the actual Lord of Riches in the Indian pantheon (Laxmi being the Goddess of fortune of which money is a great part). For over two thousand years of recorded history the actual God of wealth in the Indian ethos has been Kuber. This was well known to the traditional trading and business communities of India who used to, and still continue to, worship him in their homes on theoccasion of India's greatest festival, Diwali. It would seem therefore that Kuber belonged to the ancient chthonic deities of India, the guardians and protectors of the very land itself, the Yakshas who were once mighty and powerful over the land. The very name Yaksha comes from the phrase they were supposed to have uttered when Brahma created them, "Yakshamam! - We shall protect!” It is therefore not surprising to realize that Kuber is the guardian of the North Quadrant of the earth. Heaven Luck, Earth Luck & Man Luck How does Vastu improve a person's luck? To understand this, it is useful to first understand the definition of luck. The Vedic Vastu believes that there are three kinds of luck: (1) Heaven Luck (2) Earth Luck and (3) Man Luck. Heaven Luck is the "luck" of a person at the time of birth. When a baby is born, the cosmic forces (energy) that are present at the moment the baby comes out of the mother's body shapes the destiny of the newborn baby. Earth Luck is related to energy flows within a physical environment. Man Luck is the luck ,we created ourselves through our actions and deeds. The three types of luck, Heaven Luck, Earth Luck and Man Luck, play a significant role in shaping a person's life. They interact with one another in affecting a person's luck. A person who is going through a lucky life cycle will often find himself staying in a house with good Vastu, i.e. good Earth Luck.
