BRAHMASTHAN & THE LOCATION OF THE SUN

The Sun a yellow dwarf, is the star at the center of the Solar System. The Earth and other matter orbit the Sun, and it drives the Earth's climate and weather. The strongest influence of Natural Law on earth comes from the sun.

In Vastu also its place is primary. Not only is the orientation towards the rising sun, i.e. towards east, the most auspicious, but also, as the sun traverses the sky, from sunrise to sunset, it radiates different qualities of energy and its influence on different parts (north, south, east, and west) of the building.

COOL SUMMERS

The temperature is rising and the heat gets unbearable every coming year.

The effect is seen on the skin, body and mind of a person during this season of complete meltdown. Our Houses like our Body also feel the effects of such extreme temperatures. The harsh sun creates a hot box effect within the homes and if care is not taken it can cause an unpleasant environment within a space and make living not so healthy.

What do you do in such a situation??

Lets see just like how you are advised to drink a lot of water hydrate yourself in the summer season to protect your body. Wear sunscreen to protect your skin and light clothes etc.

Keep your house hydrated as well, place water and symbols of water in and around your homes, like bird baths, pools of water, vases, pots of water etc. The North-East direction is always auspicious and suitable for water. The flow of rain or fresh water should be towards North- East.
Another tip could be to place an aquarium in the south-east corner in the living room area.

Change the drapes of the house from thick heavy cloth to light cotton fabrics to allow breeze and lightness within the home.

Soothing neutral colours will also help calm and lighten the space in the sweltering heat

‘Vastuworld's new series of Workshops focuses on Fresh Vastu knowledge seekers, this workshop would include scientific Vastu basics where the teacher would expect that students have no knowledge of the subject.'

The workshop conducted by Ar. Mayank Barjatya for 2 days, was successfully conducted at the Vatuworld premises and attended by our patrons and interested knowledge seekers.

The workshop covered, learnings on how to use the concept of Vastu Shastra and use of the natural elements, the influence of nature on the planning and designing of buildings and interiors.
